Who can apply as an artist at muurr?
muurr is open to talented artists based in Munich or the surrounding area. We accept painting, photography, printmaking, drawing, and mixed media.
How does the commission work?
muurr retains 20% of rental income as commission. This covers platform operations, insured shipping, packaging materials, and customer support. The remaining 80% is paid out to you monthly.
What happens if an artwork is damaged?
All artworks are fully insured during transport and the rental period. In case of damage, we handle the claim and reimburse you the insured value.
How often are my artworks rotated?
The rotation frequency depends on the subscriber's plan. Typically, works are swapped every 30 to 90 days. More popular works are requested more frequently.
Can I withdraw my artworks?
Yes, you can set your works to "Inactive" at any time. Works currently on loan will be returned after the current rental period ends.
When do I receive my payouts?
Payouts are made monthly. You receive a statement at the end of each month and the transfer within 5 business days.
